More than 60 anti-war protesters are arrested in Washington DC. "As I sit here on a bench, a group of polar bears is running past me, with signs that say "No War, No Warming". A group of policemen on bikes is chasing them."
It sounds like a joke, but in reality, it isn't funny.

It's the democratic project Democracy Cell that reports about the demo in their blog.
"The kids who shut down Independence Ave. this morning are arrested and on the bus, but other groups are behind them, each doing a different, and often, creative action."
Also Adam Kokesh from IVAW was present, with some other veterans.
Large number of US citizens demonstrated against the war in Iraq (and the possible war in Iran) during this October weekend. Massive turnout in Boston and San Fransisco, and also in Chicago, LA and DC people took to the streets. The message was: NO more war in Iraq! NO to a war with Iran!
